 Sligo Rovers wish to pass on our sympathies to the family of our former assistant manager Bobby Toland at the age of 87.  Bobby served as assistant manager to Patsy McGowan at The Showgrounds in the 1980s, including during the run to the FAI Cup final in 1981. May he rest in peace.

The Up The Bit o' Red campaign has raised almost €5,000 in the first few days of the project. The group of Rovers fans, in conjunction with the committee, started the project last Thursday, aimed at putting the club on a stronger footing.   The first donators are listed at the bottom of the page, with the group describing it as "a fantastic response" and are hopeful it growing in the coming days and weeks....
Sligo Rovers continued their pre-season with a defeat to Linfield in Belfast this evening

Adam Morgan scored twice but Rovers were beaten 6-3 by the sharper Blues.

Open trials for our U19 team will take place on Tuesday January 23rd & Thursday January 25th at 7.30pm on both nights.

Anybody interested in the trials must arrive to the Showgrounds by 7pm on both nights and must be born in the year 1999 or 2000.

Players must bring their own training gear which must be suitable for the Astro pitch.
